A watercolor that reflects the struggle of our times. I see it as The Kraken of Darkness vs. The Whale of Justice.

Cape Creatures offers a variety of art mediums -- from carved wood sea life wall art to wildlife watercolors. I paint wall murals, sea life scenes on the bottom of pools and create watercolor, charcoal and oil paintings. Questions - just reach out at customize@capecreatures.com.

The Mute swans at Lake Lilly at Cape May Point, NJ tend to raise large families and are a beloved attraction for tourists nearly year round. Lake Lilly is a unique fresh water lake by the sea. Legend has privateer turned pirate Captain Kidd dipping into the Lake Lilly waters for refreshment during a rest stop while fleeing British authorities around 1700. Before Captain Kidd was hanged for his crimes, the pirate's tale goes, Kidd buried his stolen treasure along these Cape May shores. I haven't found it yet.

The Kraken is a wall mural I painted at Cape Creatures Cottage. I create murals, watercolors, charcoals and acrylics. To order prints of paintings, or if you want to inquire about a custom order email: customize@capecreatures.com. Check out more of my art and projects by clicking "portfolio."
Now gearing up for another creative summer. My Cape Creatures and sea life art hang in local shops, restaurants, and homes. I'll keep customers posted of any more showings. The Art & Soul Studio and adjoining Barrier Island Books &bookstore in West Cape May, both of which have featured my art, is one of my favorite spots. We'll see what the summer brings. Any thoughts, inquiries about pricing etc. feel free to contact me at customize@capecreatures.com. Be well and thanks for your support. Kevin
